Look at my fish!

Little Hema went fishing with his dad today. He caught 3 kinds of fish.

Hema struggled with the two bigger fish...so dad had to hold the pole while the little fisherman reeled them in.

Swimming already?

Little Vela has joined our little Hema in the pool. She is 5 months and can already flip onto her back in the water. Okay...it is a survival reflex that most kids will do...but she does it really well! Little Hema loves his swimming lessons and is having lots of fun at the pool.

Practicing for Easter!

Well it is Easter-eve and little Hema has already participated in 3 Easter egg hunts. Don't worry...mom only lets him have a couple treats at a time. Some of the candy will be "recycled" on Easter morning...sneaky, huh.

I've been tagged!!!

Okay, I have been tagged several times and decided I would finally do this.

What was I doing 10 years ago??
Hema & I were married just over 10 years ago. We were both in school and working and head over heels in love. Not much has changed other than we are no longer in school and I get to stay home with the kids now!

5 Places that I have lived:
Orem, Brazil, Provo, Salt Lake and Lehi

On my to do list:
Buy a shed and a swing set
Pay off my house
Go to Tahiti and Africa
Go back and visit Brazil
And of course as always.... I have laundry to do!!!

Three bad habits:
I ignore the phone and door when I am reading with my kids. (I think it bugs people who come to the door and can tell we are home!)
I can't pass up a good sale. Especially if it is on Tide, t.p., toothpaste or paper towels and I have a HUGE stockpile of each! (I am still working on the year supply of food, but in the case of an emergency we will have clean clothes, teeth and bums!)
I hate to iron and would take everything to the dry cleaners to avoid the iron if I could afford it!

Places I have worked:
Canyon Corner (my dad's gas station), Maceys grocery store, Enrich, Quick Study Videos, Crossland Mortgage, Washington Mutual, and Neighborhood Nonprofit Housing. (There were a few other places that I worked for short periods of time like Pizza Hut for one day.)

5 things you do not know about me:
I am VERY afraid of spiders!!
I HATE ketchup.
I would love to move and live all over the world in different countries for about 3 years at a time (Tonga, Africa, Brazil, Australia, China, where ever.... If anyone ever hears of a social work job with this benefit, please let us know!!)
I am so grateful to be a mom and nearly every day I still cry out of joy to have my sweet kids!!
I graduated from BYU, but cheer for Utah out of love for my hubby! He is the best!
