To the love of my life on her birthday...

"I'm gonna wear you down... I'm gonna make you see... I'm gonna get to you... you're gonna give in to me... I'm gonna start a fire... you're gonna feel the heat... I'm gonna burn for you... you're gonna melt for me... come on... come on... give in to me!"

When we were married almost 15 years ago I loved you more than anyone or anything in this world, so it is hard to believe that I can love you any more than that... but I do... I love you more today than I did the day we knelt across from each other in the temple.

I have had the privilege of being your friend since my junior year in high school, your boyfriend since my sophmore year in college, and your husband for the last 14 years... 6 months... & 18 days. But who is counting. I have known you now for more years of my life than not and I look forward to the eternities at your side. I love you honey. I don't have much to give you on your birthday but you have my heart. I love you.

Happy Birthday!

FOREVER!!!

A Thankful Fathers Day

It's fathers day and I am so thankful!

I am grateful to my Heavenly Father for allowing me to be a father to three of the most beautiful children in the world and for providing me with the opportunities and resources to care for them. I love them so much!

I am thankful that I share the responsibility for these little ones with the most beautiful and amazing woman whom I absolutely love and adore and look forward to spending the eternities with. Thank you for everything sweetheart!

I am thankful for the divine plan that brought my little ones into my life and for the birthparents and families who made the courageous choices that allow me to be a father.

I am grateful for my father, for showing me what a father is supposed to be and do, and for making so many sacrifices for our family. Only now, as a father myself, can I fully appreciate what you have done for me. Thanks for showing me how to be a good husband and father.

I am also grateful for my father-in-law, for his wonderful example and support, and for raising the most wonderful woman in the universe. Thank you sir!

Happy Fathers Day to all the dads out there and may God bless us with everything we need to care for the people who call us father.

Krychele Graduated!

Cora's sweet birth mother, Krychele, graduated from high school this week! We've attended a lot of graduations, but this was by far our favorite! We sure do love her!
There she is in the white getting her diploma.
 With her amazing parents!
Marty, Krychele and Kim
I wanted to post this picture because it shows 3 generations of adoption love. On the left is Krychele's grandmother who is the adoptive mother to Kim (on the right) and in the middle Krychele, a birth mother. Three amazing women who have all been touched by adoption.

Our family with Krychele! Isn't she gorgeous!
After graduation Kim's parents took us to Brick Oven. Yumm!
Cora giving Krychele some post graduation advice....
....And some post graduation LOVE!!!
Friday night we got to go over to their amazing house for a swimming party and barbeque.  It was great to play and eat and visit with Krychele's awesome family and friends. They are always so great with our family. We just love them all!
Cora LOVES the dogs and probably feed them a whole bag of Cheetos.
Can dogs eat Cheetos???
Hema enjoying the pool.
Vela didn't even eat, she swam the whole time. She is a mermaid in training for sure!
It was a very long but great week and by the end of it all we all felt a little like Cora - ready for a nap!!

Thanks Krychele and Marty and Kim for taking our whole family in as part of yours! We sure do love you all! Congrats again to Krychele! We know you are going to do great things!
