What next???

Okay, I finished Breaking Dawn last night and loved it. I would have read it sooner, but I had my sister Marilee's 4 kids for the weekend and didn't really start reading it until Sunday night. I thought my sweet hubby wouldn't appreciate taking care of 6 kids on his own all weekend while I locked myself away reading. I must say that although I really did enjoy this book, I think New Moon was my favorite of the 4 - yes, I am a Jacob Black fan. What can I say, I like my men tall, dark and alive!!! Now that the series is over, I find myself wondering what's next? (Yeah, I know I have heard that she may do another series with a character from this one - I won't speculate on who it would be about, in case you haven't finished the book. But let's face it,the release of that series is a LONG time away.) I know that the movie is coming out December 12th and Midnight Sun is the next project she is trying to finish. I need something else good in my reading life - right now! Should I start in on The Host? I've heard it is really great, but sooooo slow to get in to. Should I read the These Is My Words series again? (Love those books!) What other books would you suggest? I am seriously ready for another good read!

I agree, I loved New Moon! But I gotta say I was so disappointed with Breaking Dawn! I felt like they lost the magic of the first 3 books and I really wanted a BIG WAR! Oh well, I guess I should have prepared myself more considering I'm also a HUGE jacob black fan too!

I need to read it- I will once my mom is done *Ü*-

Have you read Left to tell by Imaculee Igigabagaza- I know I spelled it wrong... Loved that book, could read it a few times!

Also I loved Stolen Lives by Malika Oufkir (that one is spelled right!) it has been a few years since I read that one (Like 7-8 years) but about an amazing woman!

I would suggest reading The Host. It took a few minutes...or a few chapters to get into it, but I really liked it.
Different from anything I have read before, but with Stephenie Meyer, you can always count on the love story being there.
Thanks for your suggestion (These Is My Words)...I will look for those to read next.

I love to hate Breaking Dawn.
I'm 2/3 of the way finished with it. I liked Twilight the best of the 4.
I hated the HOST. I stopped reading at page 100 and I have never EVER not finished a book once I've started. And I don't really feel bad.
I think you might have read "These is my words" and "Sarah's Quilt." I LOVED them, but it did take a while for me to finish them. Good Luck with your reading.
Your kids are adorable.

I am right there with you Becky. I need something to fill the void left by the Twilight series. I tried to read Breaking Dawn as slow as I could (4 days) so I could make it last just a little longer. The only "downer" for me was the name they chose for their love child... Renesme????? ugh! Not happening for me. Or the nickname Jaz.... what up with that? It's Jasper, as in old americana! Anywho, if you find something you can't put down, let me know. As for now, I will be catching up on the list of books I haven't read from Book Club. By the way... what is the book this month and who is hosting? Maybe I can make a trip down to good ol' Lehi :)
