It is great to finally be feeling like myself again. Man, that Influenza A is ugly! While I was very sick, I learned that Little Hema is a big help with Vela! He especially loves to feed her!

I guess I'll hurry and catch up what we've been up to over the past couple of weeks. Little Hema has his first preschool field trip of the year. Vela and I got to go with him. Vela loves hanging out with the big kids. We went to the school bus garage. We got to take a ride on a bus and even go through the bus wash.

We've also been trying to get in the last warm days we can over at Thanksgiving Point Farm and Gardens.

The kids love to feed the fish,

ride the ponies,

and feed the goats and sheep.

Our nephew Liufau got baptized and then all the kids went to Jungle Jims.

Hema was in charge of the snack for preschool this week. They were learning about leaves and how they change colors. I asked him what they wanted to bring. He said - leaves. Luckily we had a leaf shaped cookie cutter and he had a great time helping make and decorate them.

Hema has really been enjoying swim team.

He also started Itty Bitty Football yesterday. I don't know which Hema is more excited!

Vela kept trying to get right in there with the big kids!

Thanks to everyone who brought over a meal or helped out in some way while I was sick! I really appreciate it! And especially thanks to Hema, who did everything around here for several days, including patiently taking orders from me of how I wanted it done! You are so patient babe! I love you!
