Summer Time!!!

I love that Hema has such a flexible schedule in the summer. He is off the entire month of July and so we decided to jump right in and get summer going! Get ready for a picture overload! (And disregard the poor picture quality - we got to Provo and my camera dies so I had to use the camcorder.)

We got up early and took the kids down to see the hot air balloons in Provo. Our nephew Joey slept over so he came too. The kids all LOVED the balloons. The favorites were Darth Vader and The Pig. The kids thought that it was so funny that the pig is wearing a hat!

After the balloons we took the kids to get some breakfast, visited one of Hema's YM and then decided to head up Provo canyon.

We went to Vivian Park and tried a little fishing and played in the water. 

 It's hard to tell, but the water is clear up over the edge of the walkway. 

Hema tried to help the kids catch a fish. 

When the kids got bored there we went down to Bridal Veil Falls.

Ughhh! No more pictures for us! But we had so much fun at Bridal Veil Falls. The water is so super cold but the kids didn't care at all. Even when they fell in! It is so pretty there. Even Cora kept wanting to get her feet int the freezing water. When the kids got bored there we headed back down to the car and headed home. All the kiddies were asleep by the time we got home. 

At home some neighbors came over and there was lots of playing, popsicles and water involved!

What a fun first day of summer for us. It's 5:45 and we're going to go run Joey home and then head on over to Krychele's house for some real swimming! Woot Woot we love Summer!!!
