Our Own High Adventures

Hema's been gone with the young men in our ward to High Adventure scout camp in Moab. Hopefully he is having a great time. We've sure missed him. I think Vela has asked me at least 100 times "where daddy at?" We may not be having high adventures here at home, but we've still had a great time. Here's what we did today:
Hema and Vela play so well together now. I love seeing them run around and laugh. Lately they have been loving the capes that I made for them at Christmas.
Super kids!!
Hema is always wanting to hold, hug, feed, kiss or just look at Cora. He sits and tells her how cute she is and how perfect she is and "I'm brother - I'm your brother and I love you Cora." melts my heart!! He really is the best big brother.
We went to the dinosaur museum today for the first time since Cora joined the family.
The kids had a great time playing in the sand and water. They really work well together now. I asked if they were building an island but they we actually building "a whole entire dinosaur world."
Cora loved the museaum. And by loved I mean snoozed the whole time in my pack.
Then we came home and the kid searched for rolly pollys and played in the yard for hours.

I finally understand what my mom meant when she would say that nothing made her happier than when we kids got along and were good to each other. Since Hema and I are both from large families, it has been sad for me to think that maybe our kids wouldn't really have many siblings. Our siblings are our best friends. I am so glad that we now have three kids - that they have each other. I feel so blessed and so very grateful for the incredible birth parents who placed these three sweeties with our family. Today at dinner little Hema said the prayer and in the prayer asked to help us get a baby. After the prayer I said to him, you are in the habit of asking for a baby - but we already got Cora remember. He answered, yeah but now we need a baby brother too! He is such a sweet boy! Oh to have the faith of a 4 year old. We shall see what the future holds for our family, but for now I am so very grateful for these three and that I get to be their mom full time every day. There is nothing I would rather be doing! Nothing!
