Hema had a Birthday!

I'm talking about my sweet husband Hema, yep he's one year older and wiser too! 

His birthday was on the 20th. To celebrate we went for sushi on Saturday night. We tried a new place in Lehi and it wasn't the greatest. Then on Sunday after church, Uziel's parents had us over for dinner. His mom made some delicious food! (Just to clarify, they didn't have us over to celebrate Hema's birthday - as they are Jehovah's Witness and don't celebrate birthdays. But they had invited us over before Cora went to the hospital and it just worked out that we rescheduled for the 20th.) It was fun to visit with them and have some more of Uziel's family meet Cora. After dinner we headed over to Hema's parents house to eat some of the yummy cake I made.

It was actually a chocolate trifle. I rarely make chocolate desserts because I don't really like them, but they are the favorite of my husband and the kids. It was a fun day! 

I am so grateful for Hema. He truly is the best husband and father and I hope that he has a fabulous year! Love you babe! I'm so glad we get to grow old together!
