One of the blessings of large families is that Christmas festivities started early with the Hawkins and Katoa family parties.
The extended Hawkins clan met a week early at Mom and Dad's place in Lake Shore. We sang carols, played games, and it wouldn't be a Hawkins Christmas with out the chimes.
The Katoa extended family party took place in Tooele this year. We don't fit in anyone's house anymore so the church cultural hall had to do. We had lots of fun and tons to eat. The kids and a some of the adults played basketball then we had a family game of bingo with lots of fun prizes.
