Poor Vela!

Poor little Vela! She is so sick. She was just fine on Thursday and then Friday morning woke up and started throwing up. And I mean everything. She couldn't even keep water down. Then she seemed to be doing a little better this morning and then it returned. Of course now she is losing it out of both ends. (Sorry for the details!) I called the Dr and he said try to get her to take a teaspoon of water or Pedialite at a time and keep it down. So far so good and she finally just fell asleep. I'm hoping we can avoid the ER tonight! Wouldn't that make for a romantic Valentines??

After she went to sleep I hurried and made my two favorite boys some crepes for dinner! We usually like to have them for breakfast on Valentines, but I know that tonight is going to be a long night and we have church at 9:00. No one complained about eating them tonight! I sure hope no one else catches what Vela's got. It's pretty bad. It is so sad when kids get sick. It just breaks my heart. I am so relived that she is finally sleeping. Now I better go arm wrestle Hema over who has to stay home from church tomorrow. I hate missing church!
