Mr. Sunshine...where did you go? I really miss you.

The thing that I hate about this time of year is how just as it starts to warm up and get you thinking that spring is close - it starts to snow again. I was really wanting to take the kids to the zoo today. The weather has been nice over the past week. Still cold but not freezing. Of course I looked out the window this morning and it is snowing. Really? What a bummer!! I know it is only February and we really need some more snow, but man I am ready for a week of nice sun. I miss walking to the park, playing at the Thanksgiving Point Gardens, playing on the swing set in the backyard for hours... I could go on and on.

I decided to ignore the snow and cold and BBQ anyway tonight. Yummy chicken kabobs!

I do love living in Utah and the seasons we have here, but this time of year the warm beautiful beaches in Tonga start calling my name. I sure wish I was here today.
