Easter Weekend

We had a great Easter Weekend. Hema had Thursday and Friday off from work so we had lots of time around the house relaxing as a family. On Saturday, we enjoyed general conference at home. (By the way I loved all the talks! Especially Sister Beck, Elder Ballard, Elder Eyring, Elder Perry and President Monson's talks! I love, love, love being inspired to be a better mother!!!) Then on Saturday evening, we headed down to my parents house. We stayed over there and my mom and I played games while the men were are the Priesthood session. On Sunday morning mom made the conference traditional breakfast: griddle cakes! She made whole wheat this year and they were delish!
After breakfast, the kids got a note the Easter bunny had left for them and the scavenger hunt for the baskets began.
That crazy bunny left clues all over the house. One was in the fish's mouth.Rosie had one on her tray. Vela is scared of Rosie, so she made Hema get it! (Can you blame her, she is a little creepy!) In the end their baskets were found and they were pleased with their goodies! They each got new jammies, swim suits and bubbles along with a pair of rabbit ears and some candy. My kids love new jammies! And I know it seems like they are always getting new swim suits, but they swim a LOT!!! Luckily, the Easter bunny knows just what each kids likes and needs! We had so much fun at Grandma and Grandpa's house! The only thing missing was my grandpa. The kids kept going in his room looking for him and asking where he is. It sure isn't the same without him there!!
Joe, Rindi and Beckam came for the morning conference session and later Tyra and her kids (Jake was in New York) and Jason and Brandi and their girls came down.
That night we had a wonderful Easter dinner and Jessica and Sterling blessed their sweet new baby Dellin. It was great to have so much of the family there. Of course I had left my came home so I will post more pictures once I get them from Jessica.

Sounds like a great day! Conference was fabulous wasn't it! Loved Sister Beck's talk and all the others also. Your kids look adorable in the bunny ears.
