Just a few things that made me smile today.
-Little Hema learned how to pump. You know, on the swing so that you don't have to push him every time. We've been trying to teach him for a year and suddenly he gets it! This is HUGE because we spend a lot of time swinging! He is so proud of himself!
-We get to take my daddy out to dinner tonight to celebrate his birthday tomorrow. My dad's birth is definitely worth celebrating. He is the most patient man I know - after all he survived me through my teenage years. Trust me - I didn't make it easy. But of course I've long since made up for it! (Right Dad???)
-I finished sewing Mele's skirt. I didn't have an actual pattern and it turned out really cute and fit her perfect. I can't wait to see the youth in our ward dance at the stake dance festival on Saturday. Our ward is doing the Tango!!
-I think Spring is really finally here. The weather is warm and we've been out doing some work in the yard. I even was excited to see my first dandelion of the year - for about 10 seconds as I dug it up.
-The Thanksgiving Point Tulip Festival started today. According to the bloom-o-meter outside the gate, the tulips are only 35% in bloom so far. I'm sure we'll be spending a lot of time in the 55 acre gardens this summer. We love TGP!!
-It's the weekend. Hope you have a good one!
