On Monday we had a family birthday party for Vela. It was so much fun to get so many of our family members together.

We had a ghost pinata. All the kids had a blast hitting it! Pinatas make any party fun!!
Everyone loves to pick up the candy - even grandma!!
Thanks to everyone who came out and made it such a special day for Vela! We are so grateful to have her in our family and grateful for all the love and support you all give!
And now for a few stats...
Vela had her 1 year check up on Tuesday.
She weighed 23 lbs 2 oz - 75th%
Her head was 46.7 cm - 90th%
31 1/2 inches long - over 100th %
She is a tall, healthy sweet girl and we love her!!

so cute. she is so spoiled and she deserves it. I hope you all had fun. Thanks for the comment about my pictures. Usually they go down for a nap but it was random and I had no time to even think but it was still fun.
So was it a party for Vela or Hema??? I heard that Hema thought it was for him....so funny!
Vela really is such a sweet girl! She is so beautiful!!!!
