On Saturday we were over by the dino museum and the kids wanted to ride the Thanksgiving Point Trolley to the gardens. So when it came we got on and my husband ran to throw something in the trash and was right behind us. I asked the driver (an old guy) to wait for my husband who was coming. He said sure and then as soon as we sat down he took off and left Daddy Hema in the dust. I was laughing so hard!! Little Hema kept asking why we were leaving daddy.
Here is a picture of the kids watching daddy in the car behind us! Too funny!
On Sunday we had FHE with the Katoas. We had a belated Easter Egg hunt and the kids were excited to get to extend the Easter festivities. (We forgot Hema's bucket so he had to borrow this Halloween cauldron!
We celebrated Mom Katoa's birthday which was Friday.

She wanted to get a picture with the grand kids who were there. This is the combination of too much candy and really tired kids because it was late. Oh well, happy birthday grandma!

Friday was also my daddy's birthday. They were born the same day, month and year - just on opposite sides of the world!
We were over cleaning our church today and this was how we kept the kids busy. (Don't worry it is a new church with new clean garbage cans.)
Little Hema loves to run up and down these steps - it's no wonder he is tired when we leave!
We love to feed the fish.
There is so much to see at the gardens. Right now there are over a quarter million bulbs bloom in the 55-acre garden paradise. There are over four miles of winding paths and we love to spend time there. It is a nice change from all the time we spent at the dino museum during the winter.
I just realized we didn't get any shots of us with the tulips, so I threw this picture in. I know it's not to impressive, but hey it has tulips!
If anyone is interested in going to see the tulips, let us know. We would love to meet you there and you can get in for 1/2 price with us!
