A great day to be a Mama!

We are absolutely loving having daddy Hema home so much this summer. I really don't know what we are all going to do when he has to go back to regular work hours! This morning we got up and took the kids to their swimming lessons.

Vela loves the water (even though she doesn't look like it in this picture). After swimming we came home and lots of the neighbor kids were riding their bikes. Little Hema has been dying to go ride his bike. He absolutely loves it. I do not love it so much because he doesn't know how to pedal so I have push him along and his bike is pretty small and low and it pretty much kills my back. Well, I told him to go ask his daddy to help him. About 2 minutes later my hubby was in here grabbing the camera to record Hema riding his bike. Sure enough, he can suddenly ride! I should have sent daddy out to help months ago!!

So here is he! He is growing up so fast! Potty trained and riding his bike! Wow, where has the time gone?

Then just when I thought life couldn't get any better, Vela said "mama." She has been saying dada for months now and I have been trying to get her to say mama longer than that. I know that she isn't saying it because she knows that I am the mama, but seriously every mother's heart swells with joy the first time their little one says that magical word. It is like she is confirming that she loves and needs me as much as I love and need her! Ahhhh, I am one seriously blessed mama!
