Well it has been a long and fun weekend. We have enjoyed fireworks for 4 nights in a row now and are all just so exhausted! After a fun night

downtown at the Cultural Celebration we got up early and went to the Days of '47 parade. We arrived at Liberty Park with about an hour of the parade left. As we pulled the double stroller out of the trunk we realized the tires were flat. Ever try to push a stroller with flat tires?...doesn't work. Well

we found two Salt Lake City firemen who were on bikes and they pumped up our tires for us. After checking out several floats little Hema caught sight of the bouncers they were pumping up in the park and was done with the parade. There were many other things going on in the park including food, booths, a concert, and other different kinds of entertainment.

It got really hot, really fast so we took a break and visited Grandma & Grandpa Katoa's for a couple hours. Thank goodness for central air! The kids love their grandparents.

We grabbed a bite to eat then joined Joe & Tina and several of the other cousins to watch fireworks. We had a great view of both the Liberty

Park and Bee's Stadium firework shows from the parking lot of Joe & Tina's sandwich shop. The next night we got together with the neighbors for some food and fireworks. We have great neighbors! On

Saturday we dropped the little ones off at their cousins house and joined other family members at the Jordan River Temple to do some sealings for our ancestors. Then we

picked the kids up and went to a birthday celebration of 2 of little Hema's cousins. After the birthday we got together with grandma & grandpa and all the Aunts, Uncles, and cousins for family fireworks and just hung out all night. It was so fun!

I bet you are all so worn out! I am just from reading about all that you've done! Sounds like fun though.

Lucky you guys found some fireman with a pump for your tires!! It looks like you had an excellent time!!
What a great day! I like the top pic with Hema trying to keep Vela from sliding down.
