Here is a picture from her 9 month check up! She got a shot and a toe prick and didn't even cry! She is now 20 lbs 15 ozs (75th %), head is 45 cm (90th %) and her length is 30" (over the 97th %). She is an inch taller than little Hema was at 9 months and about the same as he was in weight at the same age. 
Here is a picture of her right after her last swim lesson. Check out that hairdo daddy did!Vela cut her first tooth on the 10th, just 2 days before she turned 9 months! She cut the second this morning. So now she has her two bottom teeth just as little sharp nubs! She is absolutely loving being able to eat more things and chew on everything. It is crazy how each kid is so different - Little Hema had 8 teeth at 9 months!
Vela, we love you and are soooooo grateful that you are part of our family! We are so grateful for your amazing birthparents too!

YEAH!! All these months of wondering if that was really you I saw in Walmart in Tooele with the baby carrier! And it was! Huge Congratulations on little Vela, I know it's 9 months late, but I am just so happy for you and your family. I love the spike pony too! Perfect!
