The Hogle Zoo!!

We recently went to the Hogle Zoo. It has been about a year since we were there and there have been a lot of changes and improvements! We had a great time! Hema's favorite animal was the giraffe. He thought it was sooo cool!

That is, until he saw the white alligator!!! He LOVED the white alligator and so did we! It isn't albino, and there were 18 of them found together in the wild. They are the only white alligators known to have been born -ever!

It was Vela's first visit to the zoo. She couldn't get enough of this noisy parrot. I think she couldn't figure out what it was and it kept moving around and making noise.

She didn't seem to like her first ride on the carousel nearly as much!

We watched the bird show and the cat show. This leopard was part of the cat show. We were sitting on the front row and Little Hema got nervous when they opened the door and asked the zoo keeper if she was going to let it out. He was relieved that they just fed it through the net.

We are lucky to have such a fun zoo so close to home and hope to go again soon!
