Fun at Jordanelle

We had a great day at Jordanelle Reservoir. The kids were having so much fun fishing. The weather was a little overcast, which was nice so that it wasn't too hot.
Vela loved splashing the water with her fishing pole - until she dropped it and it sank. She was so sad. This is her looking over the edge of the boat into the water where it went down.
We stopped on shore and let Vela nap...
....and Hema splash and swim...
...and had lunch.
Then back to the fishing. We caught quite a few small mouth bass.
I caught this big one. Try not to notice how sweet I look in this picture. I have to pull my hair into a pony tail because I hate it when I sunburn my part and the greasy face is the result of tons of 50 sun block.
After we got home and bathed the kiddies, I had Vela try on her skirt that I made.
She loves it!
