No, I don't mean the meat eating type, we just LOVE carnivals!! Here are a few highlights from the Carnival at the AF Steel Days today.
We weren't sure how Vela would like the rides, but she kept right up with Hema! 
They went on everything they could for their sizes - several times.
Hema loved this big long slide. Too bad you can't see his huge smile in the video. But here he is showing it with the Curious George that he won and then promptly traded for a ball instead.
No carnival is complete without riding the carousel.
Vela LOVED the roller coaster. She couldn't get enough of it!

I went on the Ferris Wheel with Little Hema after he begged for 30 minutes. It was actually really fun. For some reason I remember getting sick on it last year and had told him I didn't want to go. When we got to the top Hema said to me, "Mom, I love you. Thanks for taking me on this and you don't have to be scared because I'm not sacred and I'm right here." What a sweet boy! We sure do love summer time!

You guys are carnies... the good kind! That last shot of Vela on the roller coaster is the cutest think EVER.
It was that size of roller coaster that sealed the deal for me when I was about 7. I have never been on another one since. Good thing your kids love them!
I love carnivals- We're going to Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk today!
