What a fun day!! I got to go hang out with this awesome lady...
... Katie, Hema's birth mother. She is so fun to be with and we had a great time! We ate some seriously yummy sushi.
Did some shopping and then had frozen yogurt at Red Mango.If you haven't tried their frozen yogurt, you should. It was incredible - think super yummy yogurt with the best fresh fruit! Yum O!
I am so grateful for Katie and our friendship! She has blessed my life and our family beyond words! I also got a little sewing in today. I made this super cute shirt for Vela and added a little flower to the shirt to match. It is so cute on her, I will take a picture tomorrow when she wakes up.
The skirt only took about an hour from start to finish and I am already planning a few more sets!

Sounds like a FUN day! Look at you, a seamstress too! You are just super mom aren't you! love the outfit. You are crazy talented!!! well, I love me some sushi so if you ever need a sushi partner ... i'll be right over...LOL!
