Celebrating Adoption at Boondocks

We had so much fun at Boondocks today. It was the discount day sponsored by the Utah Adoption Council. This was our 5th year of going. I think the weather scared most of the people away because it wasn't as crowded as usual! It is very cool because Wendy's is a sponsor too. (Of course - Dave Thomas was adopted.) They provide free chili, doughnuts and drinks. Here we are with Wendy.
We got to do some of the fun outdoor activities before the snow started. Here are Hema and Isaac on the boat.
Leah and Abby going for a ride on the go karts.
Jackson on the go carts. It started snowing hard while Jackson was driving. We headed inside and hit the arcade.
The kids love to drive!
But they all preferred the games that earned tickets. The UAC gave us a TON of tokens. The 8 of us played games for nearly 3 hours! They all won hundreds of tickets and traded them for lots of junk! They couldn't have been happier.
Going to Boondocks is a great way to celebrate adoption! Thanks to the UAC for the super fun and cheap activity. Pretty sweet deal to spend a total of $5 per family for food, rides and games! We look forward to it again next year.
