For some crazy reason I decided tonight was the night to move Vela out of the nursery and into her own bedroom and big girl bed. Right now she sleeps a good 10-11 hours a night in the crib and naps for about 2 hours every day. I really wasn't sure how to transition her to the bed. Little Hema could climb out of the crib at about 10 or 11 months so he was out of the crib really early. Vela has been content in the crib and so I haven't even thought of moving her... until today. I have been slowing moving her stuff into her new room (I don't know why because I still need to repaint it) but she really has started to like the bed in there. Today she told Little Hema to come upstairs with her to she could show him "Veva new bed." (Yes she calls herself Veva.) So I figured, why not give it a try tonight. She is sleeping soundly even as I type. So far so good. But if this doesn't last, how so you think she'll do at going back in the crib???
